PVC patches. When thread won't cut it.
3D molded rubber. Waterproof, UV-stable, dirt-shedding, built for gear that lives outside. The go-to for tactical kit, outdoor uniforms, marine gear, and any environment that would tear a thread patch apart.
What It Is
Molded rubber, not thread.
PVC patches are built, not stitched. Each color is injected into a custom mold, cured, and bonded to a backing layer. The result is a flexible, waterproof, dimensional patch that shrugs off conditions no thread patch could survive.
The artwork can be flat (2D) or raised (2D relief, 3D relief) — we'll recommend the right treatment based on your design. Relief depths up to 5mm are standard; deeper is possible on custom runs.
Why choose PVC? It's the only patch that holds up to salt water, motor oil, UV exposure, freezing temps, and repeated scrubbing without a single fiber failing. The colors don't fade — they're baked in.
Common customers: tactical teams, SAR groups, adventure gear brands, paintball/airsoft crews, race teams, fire departments running outdoor kit. If it gets rained on or thrown in a truck bed, PVC is the right call.

Standard for tactical gear — hook backing on the patch, loop on the garment. Swappable, modular, field-proven. Most common PVC backing we ship.

Fabric-lined back, ready to be sewn on permanently. Works for uniforms where the patch doesn't need to come off.

What to send us.
Artwork: Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are ideal. High-res PNG or JPG also work. Photorealism isn't great in PVC — we'll redraw complex art to fit the medium.
Size: Standard 2″–5″. Larger custom sizes available. Thickness 2–5mm depending on relief chosen.
Colors: Up to 8 colors standard, more available. PVC colors are fully custom-mixed — give us Pantone numbers for exact match.
Minimum order: 50 patches per design (industry standard for PVC tooling).
Production time: 3–4 weeks standard. Rush available. PVC takes longer than embroidery because of mold tooling on the first run.
